Court — Monday

• Carl Eugene Bartell made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 11. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

• Tyrone David Walker made an initial appearance on a voluntary absence from custody charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set at 1 p.m. on Feb. 9. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

• Kevin Gerald Madkin Jr. made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault charge. Madkin pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Jodi Lynn Skidmore made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge. Skidmore pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Tyler Jade Jordan made an initial appearance on a driving while barred charge and a failure to display a registration plate charge. The preliminary hearing is at 1 p.m. on Feb. 18.

• On Sunday, Kevin Madkin Jr., 35, was arrested for domestic abuse assault-simple.

• On Saturday, Celina Victor, 25, was arrested on two counts of interference with official acts, providing false identification information and on a warrant.

• On Saturday, Brian Alday, 33, was arrested for theft-fifth degree.

• On Saturday, Cory Lecount, 28, was arrested for sex offender registration violation-first offense and on a warrant.

• On Saturday, Reylene Ramirez, 25, was arrested for operating while under the influence-third or subsequent offense and driving while barred-habitual offender.

• On Friday, Deanna Cruz, 53, was arrested for interference with official acts, assault on persons in certain occupations-no injury and on a warrant.

• On Friday, Yoneisi Perez Piloto, 41, was arrested for contempt of court-violation of a protective order.

On Thursday, Ashley Johnson, 39, was arrested for driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended and driving while license is suspended or revoked.

• On Thursday, Petrice Butterfield, 47, wa arrested for possession of a controlled substance-second offense.

• On Thursday, Chelsea Peddle, 38, was arrested for theft-third degree-shoplifting, operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and on a warrant.

• On Thursday, Jose Aceves Jr., 23, was arrested for operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Thursday, Arnoldo Rodriguez-Perez, 37, was arrested for interference with official acts-bodily injury, possession of marijuana-first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant.

• On Thursday, Awo Kowa, 47, was arrested for driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended, driving while license is suspended or revoked and driving while barred-habitual offender.

Accidents

• On Monday, a car driven by Elijah Alexander Danielson, 25, of Marshalltown, was traveling on Main Street Road when it struck a deer that entered the roadway causing severe front end damage. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Danielson car was estimated at $5,000.
