Technology Student Association Competes At Regionals | News, Sports, Jobs – Altoona Mirror

PATTON — The Cambria Heights High School Technology Student Association competed at the TSA Region 8 conference on Saturday, Jan. 29, at Richland High School, Johnstown.

CHHS had 15 members compete in more than 18 events. The students won 11 awards, and several members advanced to the state conference which will be held April 20-23 at Seven Springs Resort, Champion.

First place

Data Science & Analytics — Braden Thomas.

Debating Technological Issues — Team of Ian Hall and Zach Mislevy.

Fashion Design — Lyndsey Kitchen and Maya Legrand.

Technology Problem Solving — Team of Ian Hall and Ethan King.

Second place

Coding — Team of Zach Mislevy and Cole Weiland.

Future Technology Teacher — Lyndsey Kitchen.

Third place

Future Technology Teacher — Austin Malenich.

Prepared Presentation — Braden Thomas.

Children’s Stories — Team of Morgan Link, Braden Thomas and Molly Hayes.

Board Game Design — Team of Kenna Rogal, Rylee Bernecky and Abigail Zeglen.

System Control — Team of Ian Hall, Zach Mislevy and Ethan King.

Fourth place

Technology Bowl Written High Score — Zach Mislevy.
